The plan for this page, as of the date of inception (July 10, 2026) is to compile a list of foods and nutrients along with their associated health benefits. Foods (and other edibles such as herbs and spices) will initially be categorized into food groups, with some of the most beneficial right at the top of the list. Each food group would of course include a list of foods within that group. As the list grows, the plan at the moment is to begin to create health benefit categories so that there can be at least some degree of correlation between various food types (and individual foods) and their associated health benefits.
For example, in the Seeds food group, there is the Kalonji seed, which may contribute positively to various aspects of health, such as Weight Management, Blood Sugar Regulation, Reduced Inflammation, Improved Digestion, Heart Health, and so forth. So, not only would the Kalonji seed be included in the Seeds food group along with details regarding associated health benefits, but also, each of these health benefits would be set up as a separate Health Benefit Category, and each of these categories would include details as to which foods or nutrients best provide those health benefits.
